"God is pursuing with omnipotent passion a worldwide purpose of gathering joyful worshipers for Himself from every tribe and tongue and people and nation…Therefore let us bring our affections into line with His, and, for the sake of His name, let us renounce the quest for worldly comforts and join His global purpose."

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”

Given this, are you constantly asking yourself what is wise to let dwell in your heart?  Are you making conscious decisions on what to fill your heart with. Take a look at your choice in music, TV and movies.  Take a look at your friends and how you spend your time with them.  Are you going along with the world or with God’s will.  Do your friends and family know you are a Christ follower?    If a non-believer ask you about your faith, what will you say?   When you are alone what will you do to avoid sin?

A while back, I heard this phrase: “there is no gray…don’t live like there is!” I guess I was at a point where that just hit home for me. I know you moral relativist out there like the gray, but where is it getting you in the long run?  Luke-warm didn’t look so good to me anymore. Going forward I want to focus on what’s wise.  I want to focus on God’s will for me.  Along the way, I hope we can focus on God’s will for you, too.
